Ever since I first heard that message from John Ramirez, I took a good look at Halloween and educated myself on what exactly this "holiday" meant, which unfortunately I don't think many Christians do. From its origins, it's straight pagan rituals and demonic sacrifices.
We are called to be different than the world. We may live IN it but we are not OF it, our home is heaven.

After my dad told me this exact same truth about Halloween, finding out that Halloween was a holiday that had to do with something demonic, it blew my mind and that’s why I no longer celebrated Halloween because I found out you’re gonna worship the devil Satan himself and his demons. I may be spiritual, but I have never gone to church. Only my grandparents and my parents went to church, some of my relatives, but there are only me and my little brother. When my husband insisted on taking our boy out to trick or treat when he was young I would carefully examine the candy then pray over it that any curses on it would be removed and for GOD to bless it. When he got a little older he had no interest in going out understanding that the day was against what we believe in.
