Joe, I have watched almost all you videos and have learned tons of good things from you, I would like to say thank you and your Awesome! I would like to tell you a bit about myself. I am 73 years old and a retired Commercial Pilot Deputy Sheriff. In my younger days I raced both desert and motocross, as well as ride street bikes. In 2005 I retired from the Sheriff’s Office and started continuing my piloting career as an Air Ambulance Pilot. In 2007 I was diagnosed with stage 4 throat cancer. I endured Chemo and radiation treatments. I also was diagnosed with prostrate cancer at the same time. I did not smoke or drink except the occasional beer and pizza. I survived and retired once again from flying in 2022. In December 2022 I suffered from two heart attacks and the second nearly took my life. The point of all this is, I talked to my doctors and asked why heart issues never did I have high blood pressure or was rarely sick. They told me that more than likely my cancer was a result of exposure to carcinogens to be in fuels, oils, and smog. They also told me about the Chemo probably caused my heart problems. You probably wondering what is the point of telling you all about this, well here is why. In my entire career I was exposed to many bad things such as fuels, oils cleaning fluids and a big part of my job was flying a law enforcement helicopter at low altitudes in smog and fighting fires in smokey environments. During your videos I watch you consistently touch fluids with your bare hands. You start up these bikes, quads, atv’s in your garage with little or no venting your garage, sometime you open the garage but many times your garage is smokey and your breathing it. PLEASE don’t continue this practice. Figure a way to vent your garage even in cold weather with an exhaust fan, wear mechanics rubber cloves when handling fuels and lubricants. Yes sometimes you wear those red gloves, but not every time.
I’m sorry if this is none of my business, but I enjoy your work. Thanks again God Bless! Merry Christmas!

People that sell stuff to you must hate watching the repair video when it’s a relatively simple fix. Another no cost repair…you’re on a roll!

I watch all your videos. It is a master class on how to diagnose and fix engines. I learn something every day. Keep up the great instructional videos.

Your use of tools for diagnosis is excellent however your greatest asset appears to me to be your use of deductive reasoning and is by far your greatest asset. It is a joy to watch you solve these problems.

I laughed when it backfired out of the exhaust. You jumped forward, turning your backside towards it, like, “shoot me in the back”😂🤣

I like that you cover the basics EVERY time. You check the oil level and condition, the radiator fluid and level, and the gas for water. You pull the spark plug out and look at the boot and color of the plug and check spark. You check compression (adding a bit of oil if needed). Then you take off the carb and clean it, check what jets are being used and if the choke, accelerator pump, boot, reeds are good condition, and air cleaner. You check the timing chain and tension, the valve clearance, and the timing. You also look through the wiring for issues, check the battery level, make sure the light work, check the gear, chain, tires, sprockets, shocks, chain, breaks... You even make sure the panels are on good. You replace almost anything that is bad if you can get the parts. If there are issues with the seals, clutch, piston, rings, sleeve, crank, water pump, gears, starter, stator, coils, ignition... you fix or replace it. The only thing you do not do is paint. If you did paint it would take a lot more time though. I have been watching you for a while now and I do not think there has been anything you could not fix so far. I also like that you do bikes, quads, snow mobiles, and side by sides and have done stuff from the 60s to modern day. Good job.

I like the wire nuts connecting the electrical together.

That crackes me up how you get a machine running so easy and then the seller watches you ride it pretty quick 😂

Are there any broken atv in your area anymore? You seem to fix them all. You seem to turn them around faster than the dealership can. Great content.

It's A stator not A state tour. I was thinking of A tip trick you could try also for moisture control in the fuel tank during the winter months is adding in 1/4 cup of WD-40., or PB-blaster in with your fuel will help with removing and block out moisture otherwise known as water in the fuel and fuel tank.

You are a very good teacher. You explain things in detail so no one can miss things out. Good fix.

I feel like I am in school again. I am 73 and not much of a mechanic. I have watched so much of Joe I find myself trying to diagnose. I was in frontline healthcare for 50 years. Joe goes a lot by sounds as did I with a stethoscope. Thanks Joe.
