DATA:

Today, let’s talk about the connection between chronic pain and MSG (monosodium glutamate). Glutamate is a naturally occurring amino acid in soy sauce and parmesan cheese. It’s also a major neurotransmitter in the brain.

The problem is that it is also an excitotoxin. This means it has the potential to damage the nerve cells and cause chronic pain.

It could cause other health issues, including:
• Headaches
• Migraines
• Chronic fatigue
• Sleep problems

In one study, the group that removed MSG from their diet and drank more water showed similar effects to the group that took acetaminophen (a pain killer drug).

Other forms of MSG:
• Modified food starch
• Hydrolyzed protein
• Protein isolate extract
• Autolyzed yeast extract

MSG is commonly found in:
• Chinese food
• KFC
• Chick-Fil-A
• Doritos
• Pringles
• Bouillon cubes
• Canned soup
• Frozen processed foods

It’s important to read labels and realize that just because it’s not in the form of monosodium glutamate, it doesn’t mean you aren’t being exposed to MSG.

Hey Doctor, I’ve been watching your videos for a year. I am 53yrs and one of the best advice you’ve given is to stay away from sugar. I have recently been trying intermittent fasting. Wish me luck! God bless.

Please also do a video on "carrageenan", derived from a red seaweed, and used in the food industry as a thickener and gelling agent. It causes inflammation, and is used by researchers to create inflammation in lab animals, when they're creating anti-inflammatory drugs. If I recall correctly, it's banned in several European countries, but is used in many food products in the USA.

Living in the modern world has messed up our health. I miss the days of the 60's & 70's when Moms and Grandmas always had food cooked from real ingredients and homes had real love.

Years ago I went through a process of elimination and I established that it was giving me the mother of all headaches, I've given it a wide berth since.

So many Franken-foods contain MSG because it deceives the tastebuds into thinking that whatever it's sprinkled on tastes good. Have you ever seen Triscuit Crackers? It's a lattice of woven wheat, which by itself is as tasty as the box it comes in but with MSG (and other flavors), they taste amazing. I almost broke down and bought some yesterday at the store but after reading "soybean oil" on the ingredients deck, I promptly placed the box back on the shelf. Honestly, I think Big Agra in League with Big Government are trying to kill us all. Remember, Satan doesn't want to control us; Satan wants us dead.

I linked MSG to heart palpitations which if worsens messes with heart rhythms. One night I couldn’t sleep and thought I’d end up in the ER…I got up and decided to take a magnesium tablet and within 20 minutes my heart had started calming down. I did a little reading up on it and magnesium helps to block it from crossing the brain barrier.

the msg molecule isn't small enough to pass the blood brain barrier. so it's not a neurotoxin or it would not be for sale. msg is comprised of glutamic acid and sodium, glutamic acid is important for brain function, and muscle growth. what berg says isn't knowledge that he looked into himself and verified, he's just parroting reprobate information that is designed to keep you away from msg so you will need to see a doctor for brain and muscle problems.

I recently cut MSG and it’s hidden forms out of my diet and realized it was in SO Many things. Every salad dressing I had, most seasoning blends, every flavored chip or cracker, pretty much every packaged food -frozen or boxed! It was overwhelming. But worth the purge! I am eating a lot less and my overall pain is greatly reduced, heart palpitations gone, sleeping better, less bloating it really is toxic!

Thank you for the link to the broth powder! Expensive, but no sugar, and no corn. To find something without corn, it's amazing! Thank you.

I would love to see you revisit the MSG subject. Apparently there’s a bit of controversy (because of course there is) where the original claim it was unhealthy was due to a lie which now is attributed to racism (because of course it is).

This is causing people to believe it is absolutely 100% safe for everyone.

I'm a newly diagnosed diabetic and have changed to keto-IF diet of my own volition. But now I'm having to confront my doctor about my drastic change in diet. They want me to take my blood lab work ASAP because they think being in ketosis is DANGEROUS and not recommended. The fact that they think a normal bodily function is DANGEROUS is a major red flag to me, it tells me that the doctor has other interests in mind and not my best interest at all. If being informed means going up against the entire health industry and their mainstream practices, so be it. It is sad really, you have to find the fortitude to go up against the giant wall of doctors in order to gain some semblance of TRUE well-being in the world.

When the title came to me, I felt that PRINGLES and DORITOS had something to do with sodium glutamate... and I confirmed it when I watched the video. Thanks Dr. Berg🤍
