I had to swap the ac relay with the horn relay to make the compressor spin. Once the compressor is spinning just like it has to, I connected a refrigerant with gauge refill can (I got it at autoparts store). It showed low level of refrigerant, so I just refilled it. It worked. Make sure the compressor is running (no ac light blinking) before reading refrigerant level. Thanks for the video.

9 times out of 10 times it's low refrigerate. When you check the pressure on your ac compressor and its short cycling make sure you check when your compressor is on! When it shuts off it'll go into the red and when it kicks back on is when you need to check the pressure

That's not my problem at all. I have plenty of freon, switches are good, everything works, but still cycles on and off.

My 2005 Tahoe AC has worked flawlessly in the three years I have had it. I had a reputable oil service change done a week ago and they said the AC system needs work. I said my AC is ice cold. I used the AC three times since then and had cold AC. Now, the compressor clicks on and off. Do you think they did something to make it fail, to make work?

My issue is that my ac compressor keeps coming on even with the switch off and I don’t have the setting on defroster it’s a dodge Ram 1500 any advice on what could it be?

Just bought a 2006 acura tsx for a steal. The A/C compressor turns on and off even when i turn the heat on. The car starts to noticeably run rougher. And sometimes ill get what sounds like tiny thuds or something from the vents. Any ideas?

Any ideas why my compressors is cycling off and on with the heater in instead .
I did loose have my antifreeze and can't track down the leak but see the ac compressor kicking off and on every 5 seconds, and I have good AC

Got a car that sat up for years. Went to add refrigerant and compressor would cut on for a few seconds and back off. The gauge would read over full and slowly drop until the compressor cut off and would rise again. If I let pressure out of the low end, the compressor wouldn't move at all.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Every time I hit a bump it shuts off and on happened right after I got an oil change! Could he have knocked the wire out of place?

What if the compressor goes on, both pressures go way high specially the high side goes up to 500 then the compressor turns off again after a few seconds? Could it be overcharged? Or any other issue?

Ac compressor turns on when I rise rpm above idle, or when I drive, if I stop it turns off, unless I raise the rpm

My car new expansion valve. Still the have the problem.. my ac car is checking pressure and they said the pressure goes to up the compressor will shut off. I fix the problem but the issue still there. When i pull the gas higher the ac compressor will shut off but when the car is not running oh my god very cold. Please what is the issue?
