U are choosing your ' life 'or making lifes biggest descision when ur opting for the medical field because in today's era first generation doctors can get most exploited and becoming a doctor can take a big chunk of their lives when it comes to family or balancing married life
Hence seeing every teenager appearing for medical exams and saying Bhai hme to surgeon banna hai without even knowing the things it takes is really sad
Choose wisely

IP quota has left the chatbox. If u are mentioning plight of UR students please mention IP quota which really doesn't benefit UR students who are not from AIIMS. Very incomplete discussion.

Unsolicted personal advice from a senior AIIMSONIAN and an Ophthalmologist. It pays to concentrate on your chosen profession and line of work. Every single speciality of medicine is beautiful in its own right and lets someone with the required capability, drive, and hunger for success to reach high. Distribution of such gyan can result only in a transient high, and the gain is characterized by it's evanescence and transactional nature.
