Can you beat Mario Odyssey WITHOUT Mario?!

Falc is given 9 captures, one pot, and a dream to collect enough moons to beat the game without mario / any other captures...

Mario is allowed:
Cap doors, Cap switches, Mandatory boss fights, traveling to each kingdom
Once you enter the kingdom, you are only allowed to earn and collect moons as one of the random captures given at the beginning of the run...
How far can we go??
