Host Jeremy C. Park talks with Joe Tomek, Executive Director, and Robert Miller, Director of Sales, for the FedEx St. Jude Championship, which is taking place August 14-18, 2024 at TPC Southwind in Memphis, Tennessee. As the first event in the 2024 FedExCup Playoffs, the FedEx St. Jude Championship will host the top 70 players in the FedExCup standings at the conclusion of the FedExCup Regular Season. With only 50 players advancing to the following week’s BMW Championship, the penultimate Playoffs event, the action at TPC Southwind promises to be hard-fought throughout the four days of competition with no player cuts throughout the tournament. Lucas Glover is the defending champion and the top talent will be back to battle it out for the title, and the chance to advance in the 2024 FedExCup Playoffs.
During the interview, Joe and Robert share some of the rich history for the professional golf tournament that attracted a global television audience of 67 million viewers last year, engaged around 1,600 volunteers, and donated $6.3 million to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
