If you are in the US with under $25K, you can open a cash account to trade stocks or options to get around the PDT rule. It’s a cash account so there will be no margin (borrowing money). Good info in this vid, but look up cash accounts on YouTube. You could slowly grow your account and trade several times per week (depending on how you trade) so you are not stuck with only 3 trades per week under the PDT rule.

don’t need a fixed amount, you need patience and respect for percentages. The same principles to win apply at $50 as $50k. Day trading offers many an opp to multiply that amount 50-100% in a single day flipping 5-20% momentum trades all day ling.

In the US, open a "cash account", not a "margin account". Then trade with "settled funds", a.k.a "cash available for withdrawal", to not be under the PDL rule. A "margin account" locks you into the "PDL Rule" even if you only trade "settled funds" in that account. Also understand the "WASH Rule".
