Who's here at 2024, still not understanding an adverb?

Students should also know they are two confusing formula for Av. Velocity
Av=displacement/time
Av=(intial Velocity+finally velocity)/2

The pig's initial position has to be at x=0 and final position at x=-10. That's why delta x = -10.

but doesn't the pig starts from 0? I assume X initial would be zero because it starts from rest and then runs 20 m rightward.

I have a question when we approximate -1m/30s into 0.03 where did we drop negative sign

I dunno bro i think 1/6 m/s
is too little to say it runs

With due respect I believe the formula for Average Velocity is Displacement/Time Elapsed. We need to find the pig's displacement before we find its velocity. Formula for Displacement is (final displacement)-(initial displacement). Since we have three Displacements, the Displacement should be -25-(-5)-20 = -40m.

Question...we are given the average speed and you use it as the average velocity, why?
