We moved into a refurbished bungalow in November, the developer has planted about 100 laurel shrubs around the boundaries, we are hoping to remove them as we don’t want to spend our retirement cutting these thugs. Looking forward to seeing your new border, I’m hoping to plant shrubs I can use for flower arranging.

I found this helpful... I spent today digging out about 40 feet x2 feet round my lawn. But I have a question :what is best to use so I can mow to the edge of the lawn without strimming

I'm wondering if you've had any experience with sheet mulching, where you put cardboard down over the turf, water it and put soil on top.
