That era only lasted 6 years. Once X-Men and Spider-Man came out, theaters slammed the door shut on new and innovative filmmakers and just made franchise films for literally the next 2 decades until now the business is in freefall, stuck between turning all their talent away to social media on one end and AI replacing their content on the other, with no way to pull out of the tail spin.

For me pulp fiction, reservoir dog was the most heinous scariest movies I’ve ever seen and I’ve only been able to see them one time, but I don’t forget any of the scenes the actors believe it or not I believe the acting there is no comparison Samuel Jackson, Jesus, dude, that was a lot to remember, but it was outstanding

My friend and I consider ourselves avid moviegoers at the time of pulp fiction. At the end of it we looked at each other, and my friends said, what the hell did we just watch! I said I don’t know, but I know I want to see it again lol. If I remember correctly, I saw three times in the first month. Definitely one of the best movies ever made.
