The most common post-concussion headache is the cervicogenic headache. These headaches are what we call referred pain from somewhere else in the body.

This is very interesting. I sufferd a concussion about 8 months ago. And neck pain and occasional headaches are the only symptoms lingering 😩

Can you name the muscles connected to different points (headache-points) in the head, please?

Thanks for the information. If you have a whiplash and a headache at the back of the head comes a few hours later that stays for 4 days. How can you tell if it is a concussion or not?

I’ve had a chronic tension headache for six months after a concussion. The front tire on my bike came off and I hit headfirst into the ground wearing a helmet and rolled onto my back. The only symptom left is a constant tension headache. I am discouraged by how long I’ve had it but I’m looking for a cure. What would be a recommendation for me? I’m currently in physical therapy and acupuncture. I’m about to start work with an Upper cervical chiropractor. Is there something I could be missing? Or a test I could do? I’m desperate for help
