Love Judy to bits, but it’s a shame that the relationships have so little interaction afterwards, there’s only so many times you can call or talk to her and hear “I was just thinking about you, and before you ask, no, you weren’t wearing any clothes” without getting extremely bored with the relationship.

Panam is always number one, but I will say I like the swimming section with Judy a lot.

I choose to play as a female V just to romance Judy but i kinda liked Panam during the actual playthru lmao

I chose the Star ending. and when Panan said that someone was waiting for V, my heart jumped from how nice it was to know that Judy would go with V

Panam is the only one that doesn't abandon you.

Judy was such a well done character. A lot of love and thought and talent went into making her character.

I think the reason Panam is my favorite romanceable character is that she just feels so human and real, especially at the campfire scene. River was the only other romanceable character that brought that feeling to me, mostly because of his family dynamics and how he treats his niece and nephews. You can tell a lot about a person based on their interactions with others, and I think that Judy and Kerry felt a bit lacking in that department. The closest Judy got to that feeling was her relationships with Evelyn and Maeko, though these were both short-lived and didn't go on through the whole story. And Kerry had Samurai and Johnny, which I think was somewhat mediocre as most dialogue didn't even pertain to V as a person until meeting Kerry at the top of the building, and a bit on the yacht. Of course, the measure of a person isn't solely based on how they treat or interact with others. I think the other very important factor is their incorporation into the story. That's why I think most people rank Panam and Judy 1 or 2 because their involvement in the story is greater than River and Kerry, who are both entirely optional characters in side quests. I think factoring that in, my ranking would be 1. Panam, 2. Judy, 3. River, and 4. Kerry.

Panam and Judy are the two best but I was the most moved by Judy. That relationship felt so organic and sweet to me, with Judy's "Pyramid Song" mission in particular demonstrating a vulnerability and realistic connection between the two. I love Panam as much as anyone but I feel Judy's romance was the most emotionally fulfilling.

I wish there was a Blue Moon romance option and storyline. That would have been fun and interesting.

if you wanted to keep Judy, do the Nomad ending, my personal favourite ending for a few reasons,
1: you get to bring Judy with you as you leave Night City in the dust (only if you're Fem V and in a relationship with her)
2: you leave Night City in the dust, which is kinda poetic if you play as a nomad, cause you go into Night City in the prologue and end up leaving it at the end
3: you burn Arasaka to the ground with Panam and Saul
4: instead of just sitting around in Night City letting your condition get worse over the six months you have left, or letting Arasaka win, you're actually doing something with your life and set out to find a cure (or at least that's how I interpreted it anyway

I wish there were more options, tbh, as well as more interactions with your romance. That being said, River and Panam are best

Okay I won’t lie I liked the Meredith a lot even if it was short as hell.

Still wished we could've romance Judy as Male V 😐 I feel I was robbed of that choice

I love Judy so much I went and got one of her tattoos. Romanced Panam with my first character (male corpo), I mean she's got DAT ASS! When I saw the nomad ending but with Judy romanced however, I started a female character just to love her the way she deserves. Judy for life! Best romance option in any game! When you assault Arasaka alone and die, her phone message to you hits so hard.

Also, Kerry is best male character.

You guys forgot a romance. The romance between V and Takamura in my head. 🥲

I don't think I need to say that the Panam branch is simply better written: it plays better, feels better, and lays better on the further plot of the game. BUT. But what a damn good romantic scene with Judy in the beach house. It hooked me completely. And the soundtrack complements it perfectly. After it, I got the impression that Judy and V have a really strong bond. I didn't feel that with Panam, alas. I hope that one day male-V will be able to build a relationship with Judy (especially since there are voiceovers!).

My first playthrough I went with Kerry but I also really like Panam as a character so here comes playthrough number 2
