Doesn't work for me, I follow your steps one by one and "In line" option doesn't show anywhere, I don't have it.

Thank you! A video that finally gets to the point. :) The option to turn into inline is no longer there, however. So I just clicked on the six dot icon on the table and it has a contextual menu with two circular arrows and it will convert on the spot. Option called "Turn into Database".

I tried this, and it worked, but the inline database now has a very wide blank margin over on the left side with no scroll bar to scroll to the right to see all of the columns. I tried messaging Notion's support. Their system for asking for help is a COMPLETE DISASTER!
