Another YouTuber named Deestroying, who was a D1 kicker, chose his NIL over playing college football. You should research his case.

scholarships is peanuts compared to what they make off athlete so College athletes should get paid.

so how does this work with high school athletes? do they get paid also? and how are they able to get paid from social media?

It's about damn time because we actually go see these particular players in these different sporting events and not just the school these athletes are attending, but year's and decades these colleges and universities have been profiting off of these different athletes, so I totally agree 👍 these athletes should be getting paid for their abilities in their sport's.

Hey great video ! What if I’m an athlete that does club sports? Im a boxer that goes to the university of Southern California. I’m not apart of the ncaa regular athletic department but I box for the boxing club for usc . I will be competing at the collegiate level though . Could I still get an NIL deal ?

With NIL, do schools ever have to pay their school athletes for marketing and advertising when students are used?

Could I get a sponsorship from ECD if I go into the NAIA instead of the NCAA

I wonder if this is going to make players go to others schools that they can get more playing time on order to get more NIL money

Greg, how could outsiders (non-athletes/buisnesses) get involved in the investment of NIL?

Just wondering, if I’m a Texas High School football player that has committed to a college can I pursue NIL? Because I won’t be playing High School football anymore but NIL is banned in Texas for high schoolers. Just wanted to clarify and make sure. Thanks

Players saying they get no compensation is untrue. For years, these folks have been paid residuals for likeness used in video games. As early as 2001 in fact. A former Clemson offensive lineman told me he and every player featured in video games, just their numbers were used, were paid residuals. Bernie, he's my man, but he should be ashamed for supporting student athletes be listed as employees by the school. Hell, if they want to do that, then why not just classify all students as employees, because at undergraduate and law school, we students have to sign an agreement that these schools can use our name and likeness to promote without we students receiving a cent. Enough with helping those being cut a lot of slack in a blatant in everyones face way thay they already are.

They should have to pay their tuition then like the rest of the university.

Why bother to have them go to school. The pay is your free ride and the ability to show off your skills to make an NFL team! An allowance or set spending money is all I would want to see change.
