I needed to hear this today. I am in my first real relationship at 41 and i come with lots of emotional baggage. I have regular therapy and work on my stuff but i know its not the ideal for most people. He is so supportive and caring. He is a godsend to me. He doesnt mind if i have a bad day or i get emotional missing my parents(they died a few years ago unexpectedly in a house fire) and im going to be putting down onw of my dogs next week.
