Static balance work ok on off road but not on regular roads, most can’t tell bc their vehicles is bumpy already, JS

I just had this done to my car yesterday, and they ripped off the old weights, leaving all of the adhesive and excess material on the rim, and it looks terrible on my black rim, any suggestions in how to remove that, adhesive remover or specific scraper? Thanks so much love the channel. (Note: I asked Firestone to make it right and they told me to use Goo Gone and do it myself)

I just had a set of new rims and cheap tires mounted and balanced, but there’s not one wheel weight on any of the four rims. What’s the chance that they’re all perfectly balanced?

It's balanced, but its not perfectly balanced as you state. You did a static balance, which is okayyy if that's the ONLY option you have, but you could easily dynamicly balance that wheel, which is far better.

Road Force balance is precise... it simulates the rotation with the car weight...

Some tires use a red or yellow dot to line up to valve stem. Does Cooper tire use a different marking?

And when you go down the road it throws the sticky weights off the wheel

Spin that tire slowly as you tighten that big nut; it will greatly enhance the centering of the cone.

What exactly IS tire balancing ? I’ve heard of it but have never had it explained to me exactly what it is

Some tires center off the lugnuts not the center so you cant use this method

Yeah here's a trick with those eight lug wheels. After you get that machine to show zeros, loosen the hub nut, rotate the balance shaft inside the wheel and retighten the hub nut. Spin the machine again and watch it not be correctly balanced. Don't give a damn how hard you try you'll never get those wheels perfectly centered on the damn machine without a finger plate. If you put it on the machine get it balanced to zero remove the wheel from the machine and then redo it and get a different result, you don't have the wheel balanced.

The butchers at my local Firestone still use ugly lead weights... And they claim they don't have a road Force balancing machine...

It's been decades since I've had new tires that were actually well balanced, the result is always poor balance.
Why can't they get this right?

Why is it so difficult for Discount Tires to balance my Toyota Camry alloy wheels I have to take my car back for a third time because it's still out of balance. I read something about avoiding outside coning. What is outside coning?

Did I get fucked over by belle tire? I got a new tire on Thursday, and they didn’t balance the tire before putting it on my car. Idk if I should go back to them or go to a different location and explain to them what happened
