Helpful to understand what “Balance to quoi” means since it’s not easily translated. The metoo movement in France had a motto that was “balance ton porc” - basically, “denounce your pig” or “get rid of your pig”.

“Balance ton quoi” pokes at the people who claim this is so complicated and they don’t get all these new rules for how to behave towards women and blablabla… and suggests them to get rid of their “what? I don’t understand” - she generously suggests they do understand very well and welcomes them to accept their own understanding and join the “side” of respecting women (and everyone, because at the end of the day, disrespect and violence for women is also expressed in disrespect and violence towards men, in particular themselves, such as through suicide).

Brilliant and clever message. Love it.

Must be one of the best ones I've ever seen, full of important messages, and it manages very well to avoid stereotypes and include different people.
