Softmod Any OG Xbox With Just A USB Drive! - Rocky5 Endgame Method

The OG Xbox has been an easy system to mod throughout its life but now it is easier than ever thanks to the Endgame Exploit! Any Xbox regardless of whether it has a working DVD Drive can be easily softmodded with the latest version of Rocky5's Softmodding toolkit. All you need to mod your system is a compatible USB Thumb Drive and a few programs! This guide will take you through the initial softmod and cover swapping out the default replacement dash with the Rocky5 Extras Disc. Once modded you can check out my HDD swap guide to increase your HDD size!

crazy, i used my psp to the usb adapter to get it working (the exploit) im so glad becuz i would have had to shell out more money for a usb drive that works.

I got Error 21 after this, ive put the files on several times to make sure i wasnt messing it up

when i try to make game folder in E Dive IGET ERROR550 INTERNALERROR CREATING THE DIRECTORY. So i cant carry on adding the extas file

Followed the tutorial got up to plugging the USB back into the Xbox with the files needed.
Once I go to the Memory on Xbox it freezes for a long time like over 30 minutes with no flashing lights. I haven't done anything differently, just been scratching my head trying to figure out the issue. I've turned off the console several times and have even changed ports after turning it off with no luck.

Shoutout to anyone familiar with Xecuter2 mod chip? (no soldering done)
I've got a unit NOT showing "Xecuter2" OR "Microsoft" upon bootup no matter if the chip is set ON or OFF. Just hangs and then Error 16 (hard drive looks toast).
Is it worth pursuing flashing/fixing the Xecuter2 or just yank it out and go with soft modding?

I have everything installed etc . My controller works on rocky 5 main menu but when I click on any of the emulators and they load up it will not let me use my controller only to exit any ideas how to fix this issue?

Is there a way to tell if my xbox is hard or softmodded? So when booting it has executer x as logo but when i opened it up there was no physical modchip installed?

i did it, my xbox is softmod now... too bad that the space on hardrive can only have one game xD everybody should update the hardrive before doing this :D

Can someone help please. So how do you get the games off the disc onto the hardrive. I dont understand. This mod is meant to not have to use the dvd drive. So how do we get the games from the disc to the hardrive?
