We barely had a summer this year. It was all rain and gloom until July.

i can recall years where we had 100+ temps for all of june, july, august and half of september. this summer has been very mild. this fall /winter should hold another el nino which means rain...lots of it. next year maybe a return to drought so don't get cocky. start saving water now and filling the aquifers because most of the productive parts of california are DESERTS!!! it'd be nice if lake tulare grew to its once magnificence, but maybe/maybe not.

Thank you for this. Time to start praying for rain. We must never take the rain for granted. The leaves are starting to change in Roseville. When I lived in Grass Valley, the leaves started changing about a month earlier than Roseville. I love when the Birch Tree leaves shimmer golden in the sun in early fall. So beautiful.
