God hated the violence and rebellion of Esau and his descendents. He still does. God also hates evil practices of the Egyptians, Romans, Canninites and Phonecians. I think burning or sexually abusing children alive for Baal is worthy of God's wrath, don't you?
These wicked groups still operate today and sit next to you at church. If people do not repent from their wicked ways, God will destroy them. That is a promise.

I’m sorry brother, this didn’t really explain anything - and most pastors or spiritual leaders will not talk about this because if they are Caucasian it places them in a box and quite frankly most pastors aren’t preaching the true word of God, they are light heartedly preaching on the feel good - safe - ethnicity appropriate stuff. Why are you trying to put words into God's mouth? Do you really think that the God who created words does not know the true meaning of "hate" and "love"? Was it only the appraisal and esteem and love for God in Jacob that God loved? Was that truly it? Or was Jacob wanting what came along with the inheritance that was due by birthright to Esau for no other reason but that's he came out first? Yes it appeared that Esau did not value they privilege and responsibility of birthright which was disrespectful towards God but Jacob was a deceiver and God does not need us to be conniving either and isn't the heart deceitfully wicked and is not ever soul apart from the new birth corrupted by sin. So i think we are not still fully understanding it and making Excuses for God because it is a hard saying and seems somewhat contradictory and unsettling if your know they mercy and what Jesus on Love went through for every soul's redemption and to reconcile that in our minds. God is no respector of persons, he is not partial. He is Holy and Perfect and so is is Love. Jesus died for the sins of the whole world and every soul but not every soul will come in meekness humility and honesty in our weaknesses and flaw before God because of pride which God hates, hum... and humble ourselves truthfully acknowledging our sin is more than anything a sin against him as David said to you alone God have it sinned and done this evil in your sight, have mercy upon me. I find it amazing that people try to minimize what God Almighty, the Creator of the universe, has declared. Why is it so hard to believe that God would HATE Esau and LOVE Jacob? I do not understand why that should be difficult to understand? Did God not create Judas Iscariot? Of course he did. But the Bible tells us that Judas was created for destruction in the same way God created Pharaoh for destruction. Why should that be difficult to understand? Did God not create evil? Yet God will destroy the devil in the lake of fire, the same devil whom God created? Why do we struggle with things which are beyond our capacity to understand as human beings? God is the immortal being who has full understanding. We are mortals with very limited understanding. How about leaving it there and believing that God knows best!!!
