My 335is does not have the key hole and there is a locking wall in the trunk through the ski hole. I think it is becuase it is a hard top convertable. I have a portable jump start if it happens at home and if abroad i guess jumper cables to the rescue.

Just noticed this looks like a pre lci model, all l see is a white spring loaded white button housed by a plate when I look through the cavity created by removing the boot handle mechanism, any advice as I do not want to damage the lock through ignorance.

Hi, I have a BMW 318i ES. I am wondering how I would open my boot. The car is running as normal, I have no master lock in the glove box, no key slot and no compartment on the back seat to open.... any suggestions?

This is for old 3 series, I have a 5 series but my problem is that unlocked my trunk using the remote and left the keys inside the trunk. Means my alarm security system is been on since it’s been locked, now I’m FKD, even if I opened the front door with a wire and my alarm went off the alarm system is still active leaving me with NO ACCESS TO OPEN MY TRUNK . This 5 series doesn’t have folding rear seats nor the middle compartment to enter the trunk . I don’t know what to do now, any suggestions please let me know .

2011 535 xDrive. Took battery out and without thinking closed trunk. No back key slot, no winter ski pouch. Tried jumping no luck. I assume because there is no battery to complete the connection. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Tom

How would one go about resetting the emergency green handle thingy

OK so how do you get in to a 218d m sport. The boot won't open car has power. Boot button just spins. No rear access from the back seats. No key hole for the boot either. Do I have to rip the back seats out.

How would you do this for a bmw 320 cabriolet? It doesn't have a key slot by the boot and doesnt have the backseat access to the boot. Jumpstart is not an option. Please help.

So in the front in the passage area inside the car, you remove that part and there are cables that open the trunk. Why this information was not online ???? That is what the expert from BMW did and the trunk opened even when there was no battery and the trunk was locked in this 328i 2010 bmw. I wish someone would have mention this method .
