Been playing Skyrim for years and their are times when I still feel like a noob when I found out hidden places on youtube like this one that I never knew it existed.

The Mod: Alternate Start used to spawn you right near that place if you chose the camping start. I got so good at messing those bandits up everytime I started a new character

I didn’t realize that was what caused the bandits to spawn, and they didn’t give me any trouble. I just punched them to death like everything else

Same exact thing happens with the bandit hideout just under the westside of whiterun. Though they tend to be random bandits, not necessarily archers.

There are cabinets with a similar effect.

They appear mostly in houses and if you loot them, they spawn guards

There's another place like that outside Whiterun, underneath Dragonsreach. It's also a bandit camp with only two bandits who are pretty easy to defeat, but once you try to lockpick the chest, you get ambushed by 3 better equipped bandits.
