For the people who are confused so the place jess and Leslie go to is called "Terabithia" Leslie made it up and then they had to use the rope to get across to get into the woods and then one day jess went somewhere when he didn't know Leslie went to the woods and went on the rope and the water was really high and the rope broke and then Leslie drowned and died so when she died jess made a bridge across instead and showed his sister it and that's why its called bridge of terabithia

The way his dad told him in the movie its like he didnt even care in the movie after hes done painting in her house and his smile drops when he sees his dads car broke my heart💔. And him calling out for her just shows how fast feeling can grow i want what they had this movie is so sad and so good at the same time
