I Hate Hackathons? #coding #programming #computerscience

I kind of hate hackathons. Well, not really, but I do hate how some people approach them. You should take breaks from coding all the time, talk to cool people, take a nap, take advantage of the free food, and whatnot. At the end of the day, though, I'm still going to go to them because I learn a ton. Also, do whatever you want, this isn't meant to be judgemental.

Sure, winning hackathons is fun, but I’m there for the people, and to learn. The best way to make new friends is to stay up 24 hours stressing over your project together… and you get all of the learning done before that point.

lol i do the same one every summer with 3 of my friends, and i always take it super serious and work for the whole 24 hours and my friends like "get sleep" and "have fun" smh
