I am an independent contractor who got into a big problem last year at a jobsite because of a friend. I took responsibility for a over $20k damage on a property, only to protect this friend who just had way less than me. The consequence was just a big snowball of debts and financial hardships for me. I've always considered gofundme, but I feel so scared and embarrassed to even ask for help. I know my goal is a lot, but if only people could just help with a couple of bucks, and share my link, I know it will not be heavy on everyone.
I also pray for strength for those that are going through hardships as well, this is just part of the journey.

Unless nobody donates for a while, there's no use in trying, but I'm trying anyway. People who need help from people who are struggling won't really get funded than people who are scamming people. I know this for a fact. But anyway thank you GoFundMe for making this all possible for people and families that needs it. This is a God sent organization for people really needing help.

I started a Go fund Me today because last April 2019 I was diagnosed with aggressive invasive ductral carcinoma breast cancer.. I have an old 2 story house that was built by my great grandfather in 1903 so it has stood for 120 years sometime this year. I know most people will say so what, you've got an old house
so do I and no one helps me keep it up. And I realize that, but this house has a lot of Centimental value to me. All the years spent in there with grandmother growing up. and the stories
the family tells about things that happened in the house while they were growing up.If the old house could talk it would have some good stories of a family that truly loved each other
through the depression days and before, after all this house was built when Oklahoma was still Indian territory

My names Anthony, I'm almost 72 years of age. I live in Queensland. Over the past weekend of 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th of February 2013 we had a terrible heat-wave, the temperature inside my home was 37 degrees, I was gasping for air, I don't have a/c As a result of this on Saturday 11th in the late afternoon I became ill. I became extremely weak (couldn't stand on my feet ), and I suffered a loss of balance, just couldn't stay upright for more than a few minutes. On Monday morning I managed to see my local GP. She informed that I have suffered a minor stroke and I need to go to hospital. I complied, and summoned an ambulance. On arrival and an examination by a doctor he told me I was dehydrated, and thus was put on a drip. As a result of this I feel that I need to have adequate air-conditioning installed in my home, I don't have the money to do this. The money I need is approximately $5000 (I haven't had any quotes yet. Can someone PLEASE help me out here?

I made one last night after serious contemplation because I’ve fallen into a hardship and my power was disconnected while I was working 3 days ago. I finally had the courage to share it, but to no avail. Just judgement and harsh words when I shared my link. I was just trying to get my lights back on so my kids could have the best experience for Christmas. But it actually made me feel worse getting kicked while already down. Absolutely heartbreaking, to say the least.

I have a daughter who has a brain tumor, she has 2 boys both with autism. She has tried to get disability but was denied twice. They told her that having a tumor on the brain was not a good reason for disability.

If she had disability she could get medicaid to pay for brain surgery. I tried to do a GoFundMe but I had no success. This keeps me awake at night and what would become of her boys. I don't want to lose my child 😢😢. I don't know what is going to happen to her. I've pray for a miracle all the time..Please God watch over them don't let my daughter die

I'm an independent scientist, and as such, need money for a project. I don't want any competition at this point, but I do want to be as transparent as I can be, without giving too much away of the process or the parts. I don't know how to do that and still ask for money. I don't know how 'go fund me' works. My customers will be governments. It's something I think is needed. And has special properties.
I need a lot of help to get this done. Right now, there is plenty of lead time, and that's why I'm writing now.
I need independent money with few strings attached.

It's a great thing what you're doing here. It inspires a lot of people and help those who are in need. It gives people hope and a chance to start anew but it only applies in North America and some countries in Europe. These are like First World countries. Third world countries such as the Philippines, Columbia and India doesn't count. If you would extend your reach to third world countries such as what I've mentioned then it would help more people across the globe.

Would you suggest an image of an animal I want to help, or as you mentioned, faces are best, a pic of me and the animal? I want to start a page to help street dogs receive temporary homes and medical care, while I find them adoptive homes.

How do you check whether the information is shared by a person is right or wrong

I want to set one up for the youth and homeless. But i dont know how to start..as i walk around my area, i give the homeless my ideas, $50, sleeping Bag, food etc..but i want to do it on a bigger scale and maybe even get them a rental or a mobile phone or arrange for them to reconnect with family and set up a tent in the families back yard.

We are a private equine rescue and have rescued over 70 slaughter bound horses over the years at great personal expense. I have had to back off to regroup financially. Many people have suggested gofundme. I am just exploring this option. I am wondering if anyone with a private animal rescue has had any luck with gofundme or if you think it is a suitable option. So many horses being shipped to Mexico for slaughter each week and we have access to them here in NC. I want to rescue more.
