I've have always loved this theme since I was kid, stuck it my head ever since I first heard it. I've always loved the difference of Grand Day Out's Soundtrack compare to the rest, so humble and jaunty since they were limited to a brass band and some synthesizers at that point according to Julian Nott.

I thought I'd take a crack at what seems like a full version of this theme by putting in a concluding sequence with a typical fade out.

Hey everyone.
Just a quick message. While I know a lot of you enjoy the recreations of O'Donnell and Campbell's legendary work for TTTE. I'd also really appreciate if you'd take a look at music I've written too. I'm looking to experiment and expand as a composer to test my range and ideas, the Thomas stuff is nostalgic and everything but the original works is what I really enjoy to work with. something that I don't think you get enough compliments on is your mixing skills. your mixes always feel true to the era your trying to capture, rather than it being modern and in your face with it being punchy and clean. it's really refreshing to hear someone mix with those sensibilities.

Always loved the cozy yet adventurously expectant vibes of this tune, ever since I first watched Wallace and Grommet on a VHS tape as a young kid at my grandma's house.

I had all three Wallace and Gromit movies on VHS when I was a kid. This definitely brings back memories.

While we're talking about Wallace and Gromit themes in your style, I'd kill to hear the chase scene from A Close Shave extended by you. It's already such a grand orchestral piece, and with your talent for adding new and fitting notes to existing pieces, it'd sound like one hell of a legendary action piece.

Yeah I agree, the difference between the first and later soundtracks is almost akin that between the 80s and 90s Thomas episodes. Blatantly using the simpler synth instruments to make quirkier more catchy arrangements. Love the ending riff you added by the way.

This is one of my favourite pieces of music from Wallace and Gromit too. Glad the cracking contraptions shorts reused it. The original was nice enough but yours definitely sounds like appropriate lounge music, love it. 👍

The pitch is perfect, as is the rest of it, it's just as I remember, I don't mind how it got an extended version of what I heard when watching it for the first time.
