Imo, Donna was right to question. As she stated, she is Leia's mother, so she should have final say. I know if my mother/mother-in-law tried to to overrule me with my child, I would most definiely put my foot down

I am just about to finish Part 3 and I am loving it so much! It’s so good and the vignettes and references have been so fun!

This all makes me worried Netflix will cancel it! But I really hope that’s not the case and they do something right for once. I’ve been watching this whole time and mostly enjoying despite that it was kind of finding its footing and I think seeing Part 3 makes it so worth it. Now I hope we get more!

Also, Donna is such a good Mom. It’s so adorable.

I mean everyone said the show would get cancelled after Part 1 and not only did that not happen, they even got us 16 episodes instead of 10, that should be a good sign, sure the intital viewship may be because it was a new show and the old cast returning, but I have also notice there is many upset people who apparently still love being here and talking about it, which even negative people who hates the show who still watch the show for some reason is still being viewed by netflix as a good thing because you know numbers

But I am worried about it, but I am glad for what we got and if we get more I just see that as a welcome bonus! ^_^

mean it took them 7 seasons to figure out what Eric and rest of them were doing down in the basement

I think so. Netflix needs sitcoms, and sitcoms are also cheap compared to other types of shows. Especially cheap are multi-cam sitcoms (live studio audience), like That 90s show. Also, this one is actually pretty good - which is tough to pull off no matter what. Nothing is a guarantee, but I'd say it's likely we get more. Netflix needs content, and this show brings it without breaking the bank. And it's obvious it's finding a groove right now.

I honestly hope we get at least 2 more seasons because it seems the show is finally getting there you know. I would like to see senior year and all that.

"Anyone who doesn’t cooperate, that also includes sharing, if the other guest is not getting something, either pay a sharing charge or take it outside…. If you want to use the tables and WiFi, everyone needs to buy something, or the check needs to average a minimum of $3/pp. so one person buying something expensive….one person spends 10$, and there’s 3 people… alright take the table for an hour…. But two people on one cup of coffee….? Nah."

Depends I guess. A subway near my high school you had to buy at least a cookie to be there and there would be quite a few students would hang out there. I did work at Wendy's once in my HS years(2010s )and that location none of the mangers cared if people bought anything anything or even brought food from other places.

Heck they d give people free water who were just looking to relax. Some senior citizens would come in and get their free coffee or drink and just relax

I just feel like you are kind of missing the point of a show like this if you’re criticizing this type of comedy.

Jay and Silent Bob were basically spiritual successesors to Cheech and Chong and stoner comedy like this has always been at the heart of both shows.

Not sure if you have watched the original but there’s a scene with Eric in the kitchen where he’s super high and although exaggerated it really gives that feeling of seeing your parents when you were high lol.

How much do you want to bet that Eric would be weirded out by the fact Leia’s in a relationship with the son of not just one of his friends but the one that’s known as the idiot? I’d love to see Eric’s reaction

I’m tired of Nate’s relationship with nikki

So Eric’s gonna work in the Phantom Menace I’m guessing if this is the 90s

There’s a lot of references to the original so you might miss out on certain jokes, especially with cameos, but story wise I feel like you wouldn’t miss out on too much. Definitely would recommend the original, you’ll appreciate the new show more with it.

I hope it keeps going for a little while. The show has gotten better every season in my opinion. I’m sure part 4 will happen at least

I think Donna should let Leia go to Point Place High because she was already enrolled but she and Red and Kitty will watch her like a hawk.

My instinct tells me That 90s Show will be funny and enjoyable without having seen That 70s Show, but I can't say for sure since I've seen That 70s Show so many times it's hard to parse it's influence out of my brain. You will frequently find the audience is clapping and cheering loudly and you don't understand why, it happens a lot for returning characters.

It'll be watchable and you'll still get the 90s nostalgia, but I feel like the show maybe relies more on nostalgia for That 70s Show than it does on 90s nostalgia. Don't get me wrong, there's still plenty of that, it's just part of the thing instead of the whole thing.

I wonder if the ages were done correctly by the writers. Betsy was born in 1979 and she’s seen in part 3 asking to put beers on her tab. Granted it’s the 90’s and they probably weren’t ID’ing people so much but we know Betsy is older than Nate because he mentioned to Jay (before Jay knew it was Betsy) that he was with an older woman.

Dude, what? I couldn't even find the door when I smoked the first time, was wandering around the streets trying to remember where I lived (a block away)

It feels rushed that every season finale cliffhanger is resolved in the following episode, like in the first few minutes & does Leia not have friends in Chicago? She'd rather stay with friends she knew a month than to go home to any lifelong friends she may have in Chicago
