I hear people complain this show is "nothing like the 90s" Uh ... why would it be? The 90s wasn't all Power Rangers, Simpsons, Nirvana, and Bill Clinton references 24/7. A lot of us did grow up around our parents and grandparents old houses with their old china, wallpaper, and wooden chairs with the little crack in the center. And we did just kinda talk about normal things most of the time.

I just wish we could see some of the other cast members. It just seems so weird that every time Donna comes to visit somehow Eric always seems busy other than the first time. Same with Jay’s parents. I don’t want this to be like Fast and the Furious were they have to give, in my opinion, bullshit reasons why Brian doesn’t show up to help

I have really liked the show as someone who grew up in the 90’s It definitely feels close, only thing I hate is how a lot of items are period correct except a few details that drive me crazy. In the background you can see folders coffee in a plastic container and they weren’t out until the mid 2000’s I think. Also in the final episode in the school dream sequence ozzy is talking on a flip phone from like 02-04. And in the kitchen the Dawn dishsoap is a modern bottle and logo but I really did enjoy the show
