Refinishing a Sticky Table Top

For some reason this table top became sticky. I assume it was cleaned with something that dissolve the finish.

What type of clear protectant did you use. I just want to use something that will not get sticky again.

Nice video. I would caution that if you are walking up to an open panel not to flip a breaker back on unless you are positive it is the correct one as someone could be doing work somewhere else. Granted if someone was working on another circuit they should tag the box as well, but better safe than sorry.

Me thinks someone under-designed or just went cheap on your shop. Or it was intended for storage only. That is ridiculous to have to reset breakers all the time
