Great songs, wonderful memories. Thank you for posting these wonderful songs. I'm surprised Elton john.s " Honky Cat" isnt on the list. Although he sang this in 1972 it is one of my favorite songs of that year, and since we are mentioning the 100 best songs of 1972 i was thanking of that song. Again thank you for posting and i look forward for other years and commenting then.😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

Aw, Castles in the Air! I was my honey’s country girl, he passed after 45 years of being happily married, so blessed (God shine perpetual light upon him). He was in Vietnam in 1972 - we were newly weds, I stayed with his mom and dad that year.
So many memories.

‘71 & ‘72–Ground Zero for my puberty. It’s this music I listen to now with, as Dan Fogelberg put it, “that old familiar pain”. I suppose those particular years of our lives & their soundtracks affect many in the same way

I really, honestly, with all respect, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your complication. The quality of the song replication is as good as it gets. Good efforts on making songs sound good on YouTube is very often overlooked. You did a great job. And I thank you for this effort. Peace and love ❤️

ok in the last few weeks I listened the top 100 billboard 1970, 71 and now 72. I have a declaration, the 70's esp the early 70's in the best music in the history and it's not even close. Whenever I praise the 70;s unknowledgeable people always say oh that was disco and disco sucks. So-called "Disco" was like 2 years at the end of the 70's. the 70's brought you Black Sabbath, Led Zepplin, Queen, The Eagles, Dire Straights, Elton John, The Who and Stones still had great stuff, Fleetwood Mac, Janis Joplin's album Pearl was 1970, Sly and the Family Stone, Lynyrd Skinnard, Pink Floyd, Steely Dan, Aerosmith and the greatest soul music in history and I could go on and on! It was the greatest single decade in music!
