I just got myself the Hook Reveal 7 TS.
It was good to see the differences between the reveal and the top models.
I will not need to ever add anything to it like being able to work it in with your trolling motor to keep you in one place or any other.
It was good to understand that the reveal has most of the other internal features that I would need and they are the same as the other models.
This will e our first time using side scan so we are keen to get back out there and hunt some fish down.
We have always just relied on our local knowledge to catch fish and Im sick of catching nothing with this expertise. So from now on we have a fighting chance.

Does the Elite FS have same processor as the HDS Live?

At 23 minutes in, notice the Hook reveal actually has a larger screen view than the Elite. Same with the HDS, the Hook view of actual sonar image is quite a bit larger because it doesn't have soft keys on the display. Can the soft keys be removed after you are done with them? If so, you never showed that feature. In all cases, the display always shows the soft keys, leading me to think they are unable to be removed.

for the elite FS, you state that you cant run chirp and side scan at the same time. Does that mean you run only 200khz + sidescan as the only capability when doing the both?

ELITE FS: I
I have a speed over ground on my chart page, but have no speed over water readings on sonar, downscan or side scan, all I get is three dashes. Speed over water is turn on in all of my settings??
Please help.

I have two HDS 9 gen3, can I link a new Elite 9 FS with active 3-in-1 transducer to the gen 3 9 units via ethernet cable? The older 9's have two ethernet ports per unit. Would like to know if information will share across all three? I realize the FS will have best clarity for down and sidecan. Mainly want the FS for faster map response for safety reasons. Thank You
