Full Proxy Architecture on F5 AWAF | Digital Network Solution

“Full Proxy Architecture”, this means that clients or servers on either side of the F5 never talk to each other. The client thinks the F5’s endpoint is the server, and the server thinks the F5 is the client.A full-proxy maintains two separate session tables – one on the client-side, one on the server-side. There is effectively an “air gap” isolation layer between the two internal to the proxy, one that enables focused profiles to be applied specifically to address issues peculiar to each “side” of the proxy.
