Is Mouse Acceleration Good For FPS Video Games?

Over the course of a few days I test is mouse acceleration good? Why such a short initial time? I wanted to prove how fast we can adapt to mouse acceleration but also showcase how much potential my aim has after really only 24 hours of actual play.

I mentioned this in my prior video are aim trainers good where I really started using raw accel (Which is the software I used for mouse acceleration)

The above is a beginners guide and does require some patience to understand everything. Make sure have time to sit back and really open up to learn.

This and the other guy's video inspired me so much to try raw accel and mouse accel... Must admit, I've been enjoying a lot feeling like I can just lazily throw the same config on any FPS and I'll probably be good to go. It's kind of an unsafe feeling to high up your sens on games like TF2 or even Halo sometimes when ur used to Low Sens. Nice vid btw!!

For controller, we have max yaw and pitch which provides a different sens when you hit the max input, which is adjustable. Most controller players I know specifically told me to not touch max turning speed but I have it cranked almost to max now and it saves me quite often when I need a quick flick.

This helped me, i have terrible wrist control so most of my aiming is with my arm. So naturally my sense is super low, like 400 dpi 1.5 ingame for apex. Accel just basically made it more comfortable to do movement without destroying my aim

Hi Dazs! :D It is actually really funny, but I think I have accidentally played with acceleration on this whole time without knowing. I learned this week how to uncheck it on Windows and did it because everyone says mouse acceleration is bad... And wow turning it off totally messed my aim! So after few rounds I went back to it. So, mouse acceleration squad it is. 😳

As someone who does flashy movement gameplay in Apex Legends and just started using Mouse acceleration about a month ago (Mouse acceleration in the Apex game menu no third party Mouse acceleration) I can tell you if you want to have flashy fast movement while maintaining your Precision while aiming. Aim acceleration is the way to go. I was constantly always tweaking out my sensitivity without aim acceleration but since I started using it I have no need to tweak it anymore it has everything that I want. And it literally feels like it gives me aim assist with the mouse very little to no recoil. I have the razor Viper V2 Pro with the Wireless 4K pulling Hertz dongle, DPI at 800 in game sensitivity at 0.9, aim down sights iron 1.1, 2x-4x at 1.2. I was playing at 240 Hertz for a while but notice that my frame rate would drop down to 150 in certain spots so I just capped it at 144 for stability sake. I used to be against am acceleration but for Apex Legends I definitely feel it's actually a must if you're playing with a mouse and keyboard and want to do flashy stuff but still want to be able to maintain accuracy consistency.
