Is there a way to confirm that you're recording on PS4? I am trying to do my first let's play and I thought I was recording when the icon popped up, but an hour later when I double tapped the share button it *started* recording! Two hours in and I have to retrace progress back to where I lost footage. Please tell me there's some easier way to record in better confidence, thanks!

Omg thanks you so so so much, I’ve been starting my own YouTube channel for a long time now I could NEVER figure out how all those other YouTuber capture footage on the screen I always used my phone which obviously recording off screen there’s tons of glares, quality isn’t good and audio is difficult, this helped so so much I can’t thank you enough, I don’t have a headset yet or the capture card but until I save up the money at the least I can start filming you saved my YouTube dream
