5 minutes writing a script outline can reduce the number of takes and cutdown on filler words (uh, well, like, and).
DIY audio booth - your mattresses flipped up against a corner
DIY Cheap pop filter - coathanger+pantyhose (or sock but muffles more)
DIY cheap audio backdrop foam tiles - those cardboard drink carriers from fast food places or pool noodles cut into strips

Your face, your tone, your voice are weirdly soothing me. Thank you. And thanks for the tip on compression.

Also if not using words with the letter P, pop filters are still a must to get rid of any other plosives and other sounds where air escapes the mouth at high enough velocities.

THANK YOU SOOO MUCH! I'm a new youtuber and I was wondering how I could make my audio sound better for my videos, I was recording my audio on obs the whole time so when I uploaded the video to adobe it was all one thing and I couldn't edit the video or the noise in the background from my fan, but now I can do it! Thank you so much man!!

Thank you for this video! It helped me quite a bit and I just recently started using audacity for this! I have watched this quite a bit and all I hear in my head is "this is a example of a voice over in audacity" when I boot it up! XD

I've found the deadcat that came with my mic works way better than the pop-filter (although I do everything with Nvidia broadcast too so I have an AI pop filter as well - but the deadcat does all I need it to, especially recording gaming videos and not effect audio.

Thanks for this mate, I was looking for something like this so I could start my own channel up. Being Mute for most of life my social skills or the ability to express myself vocally is lacking considerably; hoping that I can learn a new skill in video editing whilst I try exposing myself into speaking more regularly to try and get over the anxiety of how unnatural I sound in conversation.

Much appreciated. <3
