Both vehicles retain their resale values so you can’t go wrong with either.

Go with the Lexus for comfort in that driving it feels like you’re sitting/relaxing on a couch with quiet ambient noise.

Go with the Acura for a more drifting experience because taking sharp corners is where the TLX shines with its SH-AWD.

Nice review. Both are good choices. That Acura is the A-spec though so it comes with a 4 cylinder and 272hp. Only the Type-S has a V6 that puts out 355hp.

Been through a fare share of acuras and lexus . I love both brands but I’ll say one thing, when you’re in an Acura you feel like you’re in a high end honda, when you’re in a Lexus you feel like you’re in a Lexus .

FYI, the TLX has genuine leather, Alcantara, genuine aluminum, and one of the best sound systems, ELS 3D. 4-cylinder turbo, 272 hp, 280 lb-ft of torque. Type S has the V6

That TLX A-spec has the 2.0L Turbo with 272hp. Only the TLX Type S has the 3.0L V6 Turbo with 355 hp.

The touchpad is a 1 to 1 mapping to the screen, so where ever you click on the touchpad, it corresponds to an area on the screen

The Lexus is so old they still have a CD player. Maybe they should have put in a cassette and 8-Track as well. Interior is 90's like.

Measure the panel gaps & measure paint depth. That could show how makes a better built car

I dislike the chrome trim along the sides of the IS grill but love the tail lights. The TLX is more sporty looking. It seems the seats are more comfortable, but the screen is too far back and it’s not touch. Bad choice. A matter of preference.

Very nice review, very honest, but what was this guy thinking, he totally destroyed the Lexus IS by comparing it with the Acura TLX, the TLX win in the every category, from the power to the interior to the exterior, I hate the Lexus grill especially this model and the real bumper is just plain plastic looks so cheap, way to go Acura 👍👏👍👏

Gosh these cars are gorgeous and reliable. Currently have an 08 TL and trying to decide which to upgrade to.
