Way overdue. This band should've been in HOF long time ago. Will never forget the first time I heard Live in Budokan. Congrats to Cheap Trick.

Took too many years for them to be inducted. These guys are one of the hardest working bands I've ever seen. Always a great live show.

*Cheap Trick= Still of the hardest working bands in the past 45 years, if there's any band that through non stop touring and paying their dues to make it in the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame it's this band!*

As a person hailing from Rockford, this both touched my heart and encouraged me to keep following my dreams! Thank you Cheap Trick, may God continue to bless you! :)

Bun E. Carlos is the #1 reason I started playing the drums and eventually professionally (for a brief few years). I’ll never forget meeting him and the band when I was 14y old. Tom is absolutely right, rock has been a constant connection for both my son (who has autism) and myself. Never has a band been so deserving of an induction.

Cheap Trick, your music was a part of me growing up. Your music is inspiring to millions! Thank for making so many lives and teen years a great one. I could not imagine a world without the music that came out of our eras. We truly got to walk amongst giants.

Without Bun E. Carlos, this group isn't the same Cheap Trick I remember hearing in Rockford back in the day. Miss his drumming magic. Anyway, congrats to CT for finally being inducted into the R and R Hall of Fame.

It's funny how Bun E looks way younger than the rest right now, when back in the day he used to look like their dad

Cheap Trick's entire career has been writing infectious, effortless, catchy and fun rock that you can't get out of your head. People pass that up as frivolous or easy. Yeah, it's not, that's why there's 10, 000 angsty, dissonant bands and just one or two bands a generation that write like Cheap Trick, or even can. Try it sometime....just try to write a "Surrender". Anyone can emote and play fast. Write an anthem that no one will ever forget.

This band has got C-L-A-S-S. Saw them at a County Fair, at a Street Festival and Pine Knob/Detroit and will never forget Rick taking the time to recognize the greatness of his singer, Robin. "Isn't he just the finest singer, what an amazing voice..." or something laudatory like that. All hail to a great rockin' band.

Love Cheap Trick. My first concert in 1982. Great to see them in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame.

I remember the buzz of Cheap Trick came on strong in my San
Diego neighborhood.  The year around1978 and
I was around 12 years old.  There must have
been around 10 kids from my neighborhood who went to see them in concert at the
Civic Center.  My brother caught one of
the many picks Rick flung out to the exalted audience.  Leslie, the hot chick, on somebody’s
shoulders.  It was like the kids from the
Sandlot go to their first good rock n roll concert.  It was pre-teen bliss.  I’ve been to a lot of concerts since then:
The Who, The Stones, Elvis Costello, Wilco, to name a few.  But I’ll always remember that Cheap Trick
concert as one of the best.  They are a
great live band.
