Waffles with Recipe

How to make delicious waffles at home with full recipe along with some tips and tricks. I love making waffles in the early spring when we are flush with milk, eggs and maple syrup.

Recipe:
2 Cups All Purpose Flour
2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
4 Large Eggs, Separated
2 Tablespoons Maple syrup or Honey or Sugar
1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
4 Tablespoons Butter, Melted
2 Cups Milk
Oil or Spray for the waffle maker.

In bowl sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Separate egg yolks in one bowl and egg whites into another. Use wooden spoon to beat the egg yolks and maple syrup (or sugar or honey) until comyplely combined then add vanilla extract, milk and melted butter and mix together.
Add the wet ingredients to dry and stir to just combine, don't over mix.
Beat egg whites to stiff peaks then add to rest of ingredients softly combining with spatula or wooden spoon.
Heat waffle maker.
Oil waffle maker and add batter. Cook until golden brown. Enjoy
