Buying and Surveying our Hanse 415 (Episode 2)

After years of dreaming, researching, looking, and endless hours of watching reviews on youtube, we found our dreamboat. Barlovento, a 2014 Hanse 415. As we first saw her just as the pandemic was beginning, we were fortunate to have found her when we did. Boats have become tough to find on the West Coast. With no travel, people are staying close to home and finding new ways to recreate. Boating seems to have exploded! Armed with an iphone, we are excited to share our story and our sailing adventures with you.
At the time of most of the filming, we didn't really know we would be doing this so the footage isn't ideal. We'll get there!

Just noticed a spelling error in the little thought bubbles we used to describe the "beeping" sound that our retractable bow thruster makes when deployed. Yikes...

I’m assuming running costs (repairs/berthing/fuel/sail funds … everything) but excluding depreciation…. Would be circa £1000 or $1150 (US) a month? Is that fair ?
