If you like this video you can buy me a coffee. I really appreciate the support!

This week we continue our journey with the Squier Vintage Modified Jaguar refinishing and rebuild.
This guitar will hopefully help other see how easy it is to work on your own guitar over the coming weeks. Look out for repainting with Nitrocellulose, shielding, wiring, fender mute installation and the problematic bridge setup! So get subscribed and look out for these future videos!

I am no tone snob, however one issue with the Squier Basswood body is that the softer wood lends itself to screw holes becoming stripped. This is particularly problematic with the pickguard screw holes. So hopefully by the end of the video you should have a good idea how to fix this problem.
You get to hear me waffle a fair bit too! WIN.
See you next time!

You really can't go wrong or get bored with black. 2 of my 3 guitars are black, a Tele and a Bullet Mustang, and I wouldn't want them any other colour. Looking forward to seeing the rest of your work on this one! The lockdown with kids struggle is real

Damn, I was hoping you'd make the entire guitar tortoiseshell with your new skills

Why not make the 30 minute video a 10 minute video? It's not really necessary to show the gluing of each and every match.
