The RK3399 is actually more powerful than the RK3566

Anbernic has an interresting way to name their devices.

RG => Screen Size => Proccesor generation => case material

RG350M = 3.5 Inch Screen => Gen 1 => Metal case
RG351P = 3.5 Inch Screen => Gen 2 => Plastic case
RG552 = 5.5 Inch Screen => Gen 3
RG353P = 3.5 Inch Screen => Gen 4 => Plastic case
RG503 = 5.0 Inch Screen => Gen 4

So this is going to be a 5 Inch screen handheld, with a new Processor generation.
This is going to be interresting.

The Win600 is not part of the RG device line, so it starts at Gen 1 again.

Why don't anbernic just launch a complete product? I mean all of their recent products are missing a lot of things.

Retroid seems to be doing a better job, i love their OTA updates

“the developers they once were, ” never existed. They always relied on the community to develop software for their devices.

Anbernic's RG353P is a keeper! It's a very decent handheld, probably Anbernic's best.

You’re mistaken about the latest RK3566 that Anbernic use. It’s NOT as powerful as the RK3399 found in the RG552 both in single and especially in multi core performance. The newer chip is more efficient though. You might want to add and addendum to your video.

Considering pricing history of Anbernic devices don't think your suggestions are any viable, I also think they should go for it and we might get a nice surprise but doubt it, probably is going to be a Chip comparable to the retroid pocket 2+ and they will still go for a much higher price.

It’s started making good handhelds again. The 353V and M are reviewed very well, and this 505 should do well too.

Anbernic are all over the place. Just give us something which emulates Dreamcast/N64/PS2 as well as the RP2+ (Or preferably a little better) and comfortable form factor (lose the side by side shoulder buttons) and we're all happy.

All they need to do is make a device that's the size and thickness of a Switch Lite, has decent battery life, stacked shoulder buttons, can play any PSP game at full speed and cost under $250. And than they'll have a hit.

What are you talking about man? The RG 505 is a killer emulator! For the price? Comparing it to the price of other more expensive consoles like even the retroid pocket 3+ which costs more. Rg505 is amazing for the price.

I wouldn't really care about price if someone just makes something I can easily shove in my pocket that can play gamecube and ps2 well. Even for $250-300 I'd be in. Really hoping one of these companies offers this soon.

i got an Anbernic 351P but it has battery flaws and needs to be charged often. But after i got myself a Powkiddy RGB10max, i felt relieved, even if I don't use it for a week, when I turn it on the battery is still at the same level

Hey Chronik! Opon further inspection, it’s been confirmed that the RG505 Will be using the same CPU as the Powkiddy x18s the T610!

Love it but it cuts off on and does what it wants. I mean it is all in one but it's firmware

I don't like anbernic logo taking much of the screen...I will likely be content with bigger screen on retro pocket 3

I'm mostly aiming for Pocketability. I enjoy the handhelds like RP2+ and Miyoo Mini V2. RP3 shape looks good same with the horizontal Miyoo. So for me, Give me a Shell of a 351M in Ocean blue with a larger screen, Can play 3DS/PS2 Full speed x3 resolution, stacked shoulder buttons for under $170. I'm going to be waiting, I'd imagine. However, my Ideal device. I'd also love an improved RG300X, Maybe slightly smaller but playing Ps1 flawlessly and possibly x2 or x3 resolution for under $80. Purely because I love the design though.

This is what I'm waiting to see. This info will essentially be the deciding factor for what I get between this and the retroid pocket 3.

if shipping is $30-$40 + $150 device price, it just kills the deal for me personally. if thats the case at nearly $200 i'll search elsewhere.

I agree with with you, if the RG503 would have had even 4 gigs of LDDR4 Ram with that AMOLED screen i would have bought it. However, i went with the RG552, plus i found it on sale for $120 Barley Used. Now, if they come out with a 5.5" 1080p AMOLED screen, full Android, with dual boot capabilities, 4gigs of Ram, plus a good chip set, then there back in business. Just my 2 Cents.
