Louis Armstrong was a great trumpeter. I remember when he died one of the newspapers had a headline that simply said, "Move over, Gabriel!"

This song is heard in Good Morning Vietnam (1987). Louis Armstrong who was known as Satchmo also sang “Gone Fishin’” a duet with Bing Crosby, “High Society Calypso” from High Society (1956), “A Kiss To Build a Dream On”, “When You’re Smiling” and “Hello Dolly”.

What a great legend. Louis Armstrong was an American trumpeter & vocalist going back to the 20's-60's. His career spanned five decades & he is considered one of the most influential figures in jazz. He was known for his gravelly raspy deep voice & he was good at scat singing. Love his version of the song "Hello Dolly" from the movie with the same name starring Barbra Streisand in 1969.

The way you see him in this video is the way he was in everything that he did. Always happy.. If he was sad, no one would ever know it.
