The western(mainly) China watcher DO NOT understand how Chinese people think. A lot of Chinese of political elites think traditionally unlike Singaporean Chinese. So, if you want to understand them(not necessarily agree with them) and how they think, firstly think like them which the westerners will NEVER do. I believe that includes you, Gupta.

I am a western educated Chinese I can understand what angles(hence action) the Mainland Chinese are coming from.
