How to check the oil level in a Jaguar XJ / X351

This is how to check the oil in a 2011 and up Jaguar XJ / X351. Make sure the engine has been off for at least 10 minuets and the car is on level ground.

Important, mentioned in video, the car must be on level ground and the engine must have been off for 10+ minutes to allow the oil to settle in the sump or it will not give a reading.

I thought you was going to show us how to check the oil level??? Just by saying 'put the car into accessory mode' doesn't really help. Where the hell is accessory mode? If anyone knew where accessory mode was, they wouldn't have to ask how to check the oil.

This doesn't test the oil.
I like to physically check the oil colour regularly.
To do that you need to make a dipstick out of hard nylon tube.
Always change the oil on these every 5000 miles.
The factory interval is crazy way too long ⚠️
