Magneto CAN Lift Mjolnir

Did you know Magneto can wield Mjölnir? Magneto's daughter, Scarlet Witch, was assassinated by Ultron. His son, Quicksilver, was later killed by Hawkeye, when he stepped in front of a bullet that was meant for Magneto. This caused Erik to spiral out of control with grief and he vowed vengeance on the world.

The pain of losing both of his children made him so powerful that he was able to overpower Thor and take his hammer. He then used his power to flip the Earth's axis, nearly destroying the entire planet with floods and rapid weather changes. This ends up causing the death of many including several mutants and heroes. Magneto then ends up killing Xavier after Charles compares his legacy to Hitler. Multiple Man confronts Magneto accusing him of turning on his own kind and attempts to suicide bomb him but Erik using Thors hammer, sends Madrox flying out of a window as he explodes. Captain America gathers as many remaining heroes as possible to stop Magneto.

As Wolverine attacks, Magneto opens Cyclops' visor and turns Iron Man’s blast on Wolverine at the same time. With everyone assuming Logan is dead he stands up saying not yet and shoves his claws into Magneto. Erik then tears his adamantium completely off of his skeleton. Jean Gray then shows a wounded Magneto what he’s done and gets him to restore the earth’s axis. Erik believes that Charles will forgive him but Cyclops tells him, Charles is dead and no one will ever forgive him as he blasts his head clean off.

Funny thing is neither the Scarlet Witch or Quick silver died. It was all Quicksilvers plan to take over for magneto because he felt that he’d gone soft.
