The Minneapolis homeless encampment, known as Camp Nenookaasi, is set to be cleared on Thursday after a legal effort to block the eviction failed.

They're very concerned about "shelter space?" No they aren't. They are concerned with being willing/able to adhere to shelter rules. They are there by choice.

This is just putting a bandaid on the situation. The city should take action immediately when an encampment starts. Big difference between an encampment and people who are homeless.

The city can’t come up with enough money to build them a building with proper resources?

Wow... I don't like to refer to myself as someone else but I am a traveler and I make sure I am by myself I don't go to camps I stay by myself to myself just too much dumb stuff happens when you end up with a group especially if the group is not cool and very unruly I don't like drunk people I don't like people on drugs around me anything and I was like that before I was homeless or traveling

This cycle goes on and on each year. There are laws in the book, just enforce them every spring when the first drug addicts tent is put up. Stop the lawlessness!
