This is a similar conversation I saw on Threads when people were complaining about how not enough people support their local indie book stores.
Not everyone has indie book stores available to them, also I can’t support my local bookstore because most of what I read are indie authors, and most of what is being sold at indie bookstores are trad published books.

This is a subculture I've never been part of. I grew up in the 80s during the "Satanic Panic" & my mom wouldn't even let me watch He-Man or Thundercats.

I only personally know one guy that plays D&D and Magic the Gathering. I don't think he has many folks to play with. Poor guy. He has my sympathy. He loves this stuff but the world has moved on.
