I must hand it to Daniel insofar as he has made the franchise strong and in return has been justly rewarded. The last film No Time to die was very weak, it had a tenuous story line, the main set was cheap with builders fluorescent lamps standing in a long shallow garden pond, Craig said it wrapped up a lot of loose ends and that he and the whole crew made it the best they could, he as a principle could have lended a stronger edge to the role. For the opening scene and finale I would have expected jaw dropping escapades and a much much stronger story line. Car chases one would find in Ronin and Mission impossible, nothing spectacular. Bond should be hard and dangerous, not talking about his child being the most beautiful thing he's seen or the colour of her eyes. Craig is a good actor when he wants to be, he obviously has a presence and this attracts the punters. I do admire the point he is grounded. A shame his exit didn't have the bite befitting of his talent.
