At 3:05 is he REALLY trying to make a seal between the flange and the duct with duct tape? Yes I know it's called 'duct tape' but I don't think it's designed for pipework like this under air pressure in a humid and greasy environment. I would suggest a solid duct and jubilee/hose clips but then I'm just a DIYer.

Could you please tel me what is the minimum gap between wall mounted cooker hood and wall cabinets on both sides of the hood?(i have a gas hob). Thank you

This is a British video, we aren't in downtown Detroit. It's a cabinet not a closet and we don't have garbage bags, we have rubbish bags!!

I just wanna go to my local hardware store and buy a little bit of sheet metal and make my own hood for less than $30. YOU FOLKS ARE TRYING TO SELL OVERPRICED MATERIALS.
